The End of Dashboard Fatigue
DevOps teams spend countless hours building dashboards, writing queries, and context-switching between monitoring tools. AlertD, based in San Francisco, is eliminating that toil with a daemon process that continuously indexes a customer's AWS cloud environment, enabling AI agents to dynamically create dashboards and surface insights based on the actual deployment state. Instead of static dashboards that go stale, AlertD delivers real-time, contextual intelligence through a natural-language interface.
The company was co-founded by Geoff Hendrey, a former Cisco Distinguished Engineer, AppDynamics Chief Architect, and Splunk Principal Architect, alongside Freddy Mangum, a former Cisco EIR and Fortinet VP of Products & Marketing. AlertD raised a $3M pre-seed round from True Ventures, the firm that was an early investor in Duo Security before its $2.35B acquisition by Cisco.
AI-Native Cloud Operations
AlertD covers the full spectrum of cloud operations — security, compliance, cost optimization, and troubleshooting — all through AI agents that understand the customer's actual infrastructure. The platform delivers a 10x productivity improvement by replacing the manual work of building and maintaining dashboards with intelligent, on-demand analysis. As cloud environments grow more complex and DevOps teams remain stretched thin, AI-native platforms that can autonomously monitor, analyze, and act on infrastructure state will become the new standard for cloud operations.
