Reimagining Dementia Care at Home

Dementia care is one of the most emotionally and logistically complex challenges families face, yet the tools available to manage it are woefully inadequate. Lizzy Care, based in New York City, is building an AI-powered platform that combines predictive analytics, real-time care coordination, and local care management through a mobile app. Families and care teams stay connected with real-time updates, giving everyone visibility into the patient's needs and progress.

The company was born from the founders' firsthand experience as dementia caregivers. Dr. Marc Rothman, formerly Chief Medical Officer of Signify Health where he led over 10,000 in-home providers, co-founded Lizzy Care alongside Sarah Gorenstein and Ollie Fielding (CTO/CPO). The company raised $2.6M in seed funding led by Boomerang Ventures.

Why It Matters

With an aging population and a growing dementia crisis, the demand for quality at-home care is surging. Lizzy Care's HIPAA-compliant platform is already expanding across New York, the Tri-State area, North Florida, Kentucky, and Indiana — five states and growing. Advisors include Dr. Russell Swerdlow and Dr. Richard Isaacson, two of the leading voices in Alzheimer's research. By combining clinical expertise with predictive AI, Lizzy Care is building the infrastructure to keep dementia patients safely at home longer.
