Agentic AI for Oncology
Nucleo is building the first agentic AI platform for oncology, automating CT scan analysis to help oncologists characterize and treat tumors faster. The platform extracts key metrics including sarcopenia detection, body composition, lesion volume measurement, and RECIST classification — turning complex imaging data into actionable insights in seconds.
The typical American cancer patient waits 65 to 80 days before therapy begins. A four-week diagnostic delay increases mortality by 6 to 13 percent. Nucleo aims to compress this timeline to 10 days or less, fundamentally changing the speed at which cancer patients can begin treatment.
Speed, Accuracy, and Traction
Nucleo's AI achieves 98% agreement with medical experts while processing scans 2,500 times faster than manual analysis. The platform is already generating revenue and powering studies at Stanford Hospital, Cedars-Sinai, UCI Health, and Weill Cornell Medicine.
The company raised a $4 million seed round and was accepted into Y Combinator's Fall 2025 batch, positioning it to scale its automated diagnostics platform across the oncology landscape.
